Our School

Piedmont Middle School first opened its doors to students in 1978 in Piedmont, a city of about 10,000 residents nestled in the East Bay hills above the San Francisco Bay. The only middle school in the Piedmont Unified School District, it has three feeder elementary schools and feeds into one high school located on an adjoining campus.

The strong sense of community in the city of Piedmont is evidenced by dedicated parent participation, our very active Parent Club, support organizations, the Recreation Department, and the Piedmont Education Foundation. Many programs in academics, visual arts, performing arts, special education, and athletics are available to our students due to the tremendous support from these groups.
